Patricia’s Green in Hayes Valley Park

As I was walking back from studio today, I overheard someone talking on the phone about recently being reprimanded at work. I guess he had accidentally invited a surveillance bot to a meeting he had scheduled, and when the meeting began, he realized his mistake and said to the bot, ‘get out of here, surveillance bot, you’re not supposed to be here’. 

The bot must have taken offense because it reported him for disparaging and hateful language. This then led the man to be reprimanded at work. Is the future now already?

Patricia’s Green is a small community resting place between quaint boutique shops. There is a sign on the fence next to the park that warns part of the park will soon become a building, and I wonder how that will effect the trucks which are parked around the park selling coffee and pop-up clothing, and other gifts.

I sit on a bench for a while, and notice many people sitting on the nearby benches - some of them are alone, some are in pairs. One of them has a very cool jacket. She looks like an artist or other creative. I consider going up to talk to her, but she seems absorbed in scribbling down some notes in a journal. Maybe she is thinking the same thing about me?
