The Portsmouth Abbey School’s Patron Saint, Saint Benedict of Nursia, was allegedly saved by a raven (their mascot) who stole a piece of poisoned bread he was going to eat.

In this student center (2021), 127 10’ tall copper brise-soleil panels cast shadows across the floor as the sun sets over the bay that look like flying ravens, reinforce the mythology of protection.
