Partnership (2026)

Lichens are actually two organisms (fungus and algae) that hold each other in place. Mushrooms form networks of mycelium that share nutrients, and decompose dead matter to make way for new life. Each painting in this series attends to a partnership in nature. They are studies in cooperation and partnership.
