It is part of an ongoing, yearlong series documenting San Francisco's public parks through the leaves that drop from city trees.

Every painting in this series is recorded with the date, weather condition, and park in which the corresponding specimen was found. All paintings are in scale (1:1). Together, they represent a small archive of free and fleeting things in the city.
